The more the 21. century advances, the weirder the pop music becomes. In the 1950s there ruled Elvis, with his orange juice like voice, and inconfoundable hairstyle. Then we got the Yardbirds, the Animals etc.
The 1980s were more energetic, Duran Duran, Roxette, Depeche Mode. These guys practiced a new wave called synthy - pop, which was a breakthru at the time, novadays the synth-goth masters who elevate the trance style would probably laugh at them.
Trance does not resemble anything that was made up so far, its rithm probably goes best with smoking weed or getting high on extasy.
What will follow, I honestly don`t know, probably the rithmical hitting of empty whiskey bottles.
